Meet Dr. Joseph Brier
With a background in both psychology and dentistry, Dr. Brier brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Before pursuing dentistry, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and spent seven years working with individuals with developmental disabilities—an experience that shaped his empathetic approach to patient care.
A cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Brier earned honors in Dentistry for the Medically Complex and received faculty awards in periodontics and oral medicine.
In 2023, he achieved Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD)—a distinction held by only 6% of dentists in North America—reflecting his dedication to lifelong learning and advanced clinical skill. His expertise spans root canal therapy, clear aligner orthodontics, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, and complex case management.
Active in the local community through Gateway Community Church in Wylie, Dr. Brier is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care to patients from all walks of life.

Comprehensive Exam
During your first visit, we’ll thoroughly assess your teeth and gums to give you all the information you need about the state of your dental health. We offer a comfortable approach to dentistry and will ensure you feel confident in our practice.
Standard Cleaning
We will clean every nook and cranny of your teeth to keep plaque and bacteria from building up and causing cavities. Dr. Brier is known for his gentle approach to treatment.
Necessary X-Rays
Routine x-rays help us catch small dental issues that aren’t visible to the naked eye, and they help us give you an accurate picture of your overall oral health.

Will There Be Any Additional Costs at My First Visit?
No! There will be no additional cost associated with your first exam, cleaning, and x-rays! If we notice any dental health issues during your appointment, Dr. Brier will address them and develop a treatment plan that works for your needs and your budget.
What Happens After My First Visit?
If Dr. Brier doesn’t find any dental health issues during your appointment, we will simply schedule your next preventive visit in six months! If we notice any cavities or other issues throughout your exam or in your x-rays, we will address them with respect and compassion, and offer you honest advice about your treatment options. We’ll give you time and space to make the best choice for your dental health, and we will schedule any follow-up appointments for treatment at a pace that works for you!
