Before pursuing dentistry full-time, Dr. Brier worked extensively in the field of social work. His early career was devoted to empowering individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental conditions. Whether it was teaching daily life skills or coordinating services as a case manager, Dr. Brier found fulfillment in helping others thrive with dignity and independence.
That passion never left.
When Dr. Brier opened his own practice here in Lucas, TX, he saw an opportunity to merge his love for dentistry with his ongoing advocacy for the IDD community. That’s why we’re proud to partner with My Possibilities, a remarkable local nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Unlike traditional day programs, My Possibilities equips individuals with real-world skills through education, training, and support—empowering them to seek employment and live more independent lives. Their mission mirrors Dr. Brier’s original calling as a social worker and now lives on in his work as your local family dentist.
